The Federation Walk Coastal Reserve includes 70 hectares of vegetation and nearly three kilometres of shoreline. Stretching from Philip Park near Sea World to the Seaway on The Spit, it is one of the few remaining areas with an established dune system on the Gold Coast.
The reserve supports a variety of habitats and is particularly known for its birdlife.
The network of trails through the reserve is used for bushwalking, birdwatching, running and bike riding.
This park has an area where dogs may be exercised off-leash but under effective control.
