Borrodell Vineyard is one of Australia’s highest vineyards, situated on the picturesque slopes of extinct volcano – Mt Canobolas, 10minutes west of the township of Orange, NSW.

Specializing in cool climate varieties – Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and even an unusual cabernet sauvignon – grown at 1100 mtrs, Borrodell also makes Cherry liqueur and Cherry port, from some of the 6000 cherry trees also grown on the property.

You’ll also find Black Perigord Truffles during the winter months, and can try these delicacies during the annual Black Tie and Gumboot Truffle dinner, usually held the last weekend in July – an event invovling a Truffle hunt with the dogs in the muddy, or freezing trufferie, then followed by a 5 course degustation meal featuring the Black Truffle!

Borrodell also grows around 180 different varieties of heritage apples, and over 250 varieties of heritage plums! Come and ask the grower and owner Borry Gartrell all about them! There’s a story or 3 or 4 waiting to be told! All produce of Borrodell is also served when in season at the onsite restaurant “Sisters Rock”. Come and enjoy the unforgettable views and unique atmosphere that is Borrodell Vineyard.
