Relax in the shade while the kids play on the playground or ride around the BMX track. In March 2019 a new ‘Dog Off Leash” area was added to this park, please see signage at the park to show where your dog is allowed off the lead.
History behind the name
Barron Waters is the original name for the area now know as Lake Placid. Burrawungal is the name given by Yirrganydji Traditional Owners for a dreaming story relating to the area.
